About Mike Sutton Jr.

A photographer’s eye. A guest’s perspective.

My family and I vacationed in the Smoky Mountains for 20 years before deciding to make this area our home. We love its natural beauty, and those years as visitors still shape how I photograph vacation rentals today.

When I walk into a property, I look at it from a guest’s perspective. What would make me want to stay here? Which features would help me decide to book? How can I show those things effectively through photographs?

Sometimes it’s the mountain view or a beautiful outdoor space. Other times, it’s the way the rooms connect, a comfortable place to gather, or an amenity that makes the property a good fit for a particular group. My job is to help prospective guests see what makes your property right for their stay.

Every photograph, personally photographed and edited

I’ve been photographing professionally since 2015 and have completed more than 4,000 sessions for vacation rentals, hotels, resorts, and restaurants. Along the way, I’ve worked with over 1,500 vacation rental hosts, real estate agents, property managers, and hospitality brands.

I personally take every photograph and edit each one myself to make sure it meets my standards. Clients consistently tell me they appreciate the quality of the photographs, my communication, and how easy I make the process.

I also hold an FAA Part 107 remote pilot certificate. Drone photography is included with full photography sessions when safe and practical.

Serving the Smoky Mountains and surrounding communities

I photograph vacation rentals throughout Sevier County, including Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville, as well as Townsend, Cosby, and the Douglas Lake/Dandridge area. Travel outside these areas may be available and is quoted individually.
